School Contribution
We request a financial contribution from families to supplement funding from the Ministry of Education so that we can continue to provide an extensive range of learning experiences for all of our students.
The contribution will be used for art and technology supplies and keeping our sports equipment, computers and musical instruments up to date.
There is a discount of 5% if paid by the last day in February.
One child $220 for the year or $55 a term ($209 if paid by the last day in February)
Two children $360 for the year or $90 a term ($342 if paid by the last day in February)
Payment can be made as a lump sum or in regular payments through the year. Thank you for your support.
PTA Contribution
A PTA contribution of $20.00 per family per year is also requested. This replaces all school wide fundraising except for one major event each year.
CAMP Year 7 students participate in a camp in Term 1. The costs are between $80 - $160.
Stationery
Year 7 and 8 stationery packs will be available for purchase online through Canterbury Education Services (CES).
A generic pack will be available but once you have selected your stationery, you are welcome to browse the CES online shop and purchase any extra requirements. These can be added to your order, purchased and delivered along with your stationery order. If you prefer you can place your order by email, fax or mail. Please print off the relevant stationery list and include your contact details and payment with your order. Your order can be emailed to supplies@cessl.org.nz, faxed to 03 338 4447 or posted to CES Supplies, PO Box 414, Middleton, Christchurch.
Payment Options
Statements are updated with current and upcoming events and sent home at least once a term.
All school activities involving a cost must be paid for at least one week prior to the activity (unless prior arrangements have been made with the Executive Officer). A notice advising the details of the activity and cost will be sent home by the class teacher.
Along with the usual cheque and cash payments we also have EFTPOS and credit card facilities at the school office. Internet banking is also available. Please contact the school office for details.
