Heaton is fortunate to have a bright and spacious canteen. It has held Heart Foundation healthy food awards since 1997 and currently holds the Gold Award. A good range of popular healthy food is provided for the students under the strict guidelines of the Heart Foundation.
Our canteen provides a regular daily menu, plus daily specials for the students to choose from. There are also seasonal variations to the menu. Samples of our lunch menu are: salad rolls, sushi, sandwiches, garlic bread, chicken burgers, American hot dog, noodles, soup, pizza, toasted sandwiches, baked potato and fresh fruit salad. There is also a good selection of snacks and drinks.
